| For nearly twenty years, Ontario Fisherman field editors have travelled and fished throughout the province, seeking out the best remote and fly-in fishing destinations. The enthusiastic response to the Ontario Fisherman website and the "Recommendations & Referrals" service it provides has prompted the development of three "Top 5" lists - one each for fly-in lodges, fly-in outposts, and fly-in bass camps. |

| The selection criteria included the following categories: pre-reservation communication & information services, trip & tavel arrangements, personal service & assistance for special needs, accommodations & amenities, meals / dining (AP lodges only), boats / motors / gear / fishing tackle, fisheries conservation & education efforts, quality & diversity of fishing available, and staff performance. |  Ontario Fisherman |
